I have written for as long as I can remember…..ever since my wonderful third grade teacher made me stand up and read my compositions aloud. Despite the terror, I knew somehow, in my childlike consciousness, it was because he thought I wrote well, and he was challenging me to believe in myself. I have loved him for that to this very day ! My natural inclination is to write poetry, ever since my teens when emotions are rampant and desperate to be heard. And now I write because it is who I am….something I need to do. My greatest hope is that it can give expression to those who may not find words so accessible…to give a voice to our universal emotions, inner journeys and revelations. It used to be just for my family and friends, but now because of this global community that the computer brings , I am humbled to be able to share with a wider audience….even though I am tragically technologically challenged!!  But I must add that my greatest achievement is, and always will be, my two amazing children (adults now!), on which my world will always turn.   So write I will…and look forward to reading all of yours too!……..Kaz.
